These four forces are more related to aviation/aeronautics. Think of thrust as "horsepower", I guess. The amount of force it takes to propel an object.

Gravity
Thrust + Drag
Lift

Drag tries to counter thrust
Gravity tries to counter lift

When thrust and lift overcomes the drag and gravity, you have propulsion
