i just did a slave cylinder pressure plate setup for my next door neighbor. pretty straight forward, just disconnect the line(s) at the slave cylinder, and remove. it can be done with a screwdriver and a lot of patience, but the tool to do it, makes it much easier. if you do a new slave setup, a good one will include the tool to disconnect the lines.

dont remember the mounting of the xfer to the trans, but some have a gasket, some dont. if yours does, it needs to be sealed on both sides, with some permatex when installing. if one isnt there (presuming it's untouched before you open it) then it wont need a gasket to go back together.
