I have a 1970 440 motor that I want to install in my 1968 383 4spd Super Bee. I want to use the 11inch flywheel from the orig 383. My interchange manual says the 1970 440's used a 10.95 in flywheel thats not interchangable with the 11in 68. I tried that anyway and all the bolts line up and appears to fit fine bolt pattern wise. It appears to be very snug at the crank alignment hole as the flywheel pulls in tightening the bolts. I also double checked the bell housing and it is fine also. My question is does the 1970 flywheel have a different bolt pattern? Or could there be balance issues if I use the 11? This 1970 motor was assembled on 9/5/69. Thanks.
