Because of my engine combo, my Machine shop/Engine builder suggested that I LOCK my small block distributor.
What he wants to try is run about 34-36 timing all the time. remove the weights and the vacuum advance.Advance the pic-up plate, and then lock it. I have a lot of distributors so i don't mind messing with one or two.
Can't find this anywhere on the net. does anyone know how to do this?
