question
For some reason my head unit in my car is acting a little funky. Its works greats unless its 30 or below out side. The display goes blank and none of the buttons work properly, I still have sound and can usually bring back the display and button operation by randomly pressing two button simotaniously.

I had this problem on my 92 Daytona when it was less than a year old, 11K miles. It was fixed under warranty. If you're handy, you can fix it yourself, it's simply defective solder joints either on the display board, or the connections from the display board to the main board.

after skimming thru the page on the RES head unit I went ahead and took off my face plate/display unit and guess what i found. the previous owner spilled pop on the radio. GREAT!!!! well needless to say I GENTLY cleaned the display board and faceplate pad with iso-propyl wipes and Im hoping that will fix the display shorting out
