This is my sons 72 Dart. Its a street car that he drives so we needed a tire that would not rub alot. Everything is in the stock location. These are Hoosier QTP tires that are 26 x 9.5. He has them on a 7" rim and they fit good. Only once in a while on hard turns like a long beltway ramp they might touch the spring a tad. But they have been on the car for years. We tried a 28 x 9 slick but they rubbed the front of the wheelwell a good bit in the traps so you would have to trim the front of the 1/4 or move the rear back a tad. The 26" tires work ok with his 3.91 gears and it hooks good. Its a mid 11 street pump gas car. All it has is SS springs. I would say a 27 x 9.5 or maybe 10 is about the biggest you can fit without problems. A race only car that does not make turns might get away with a tad bigger in the stock wheelwell with the springs in stock location like my sons. Ron
