Like Al said you just about have to have 2 gauges one for the front one for the rear.I like to use a rear gauge that only registers 15 lbs so I can fine tune the rear pressure in 1/8-1/4 lbs as for the fronts one lbs readings are close enough.Just good quality gauges,all you need to know is what pressure your tires work best set at by the gauge you are using,I like to always use the same gauge.I stay away from the lastest trick of the week gauges! 
 I use a cheepo rebco for the rears it appears to be accurate compared to others but once you get one then stick with the same one, but I know if I lose/misplace mine then my buddies moroso reads the same as mine.
