I also bought a set. Same issues. I did not dare to buy with roller tips, and went stock type. They were too short and ground with wrong starting point for the radius. If used as is, it would have worn out the guides/valvestems in a short time. I checked with X-referance to stock old Mopar rockers and found out that the brackets were not the problem, but the rockers needed welding/extending and regriding the tips. Also lacked all the hold down bolts when I got the set. Too late for me in Norway to challenge the feedback when I finally got them.
I have used stock rockers sold on the bag with better results, although some have had worn tips (easy fix).
My old rockers ran 9000 rpms with Crane R290 in the old days, no issues with them. But I needed to check/grind the radius for correct fitness to the valvestem top with that camshaft back then.
