Looking for a little more input. So far split recommendation on Alum vs Steel rods. Also need more input on recommended cubic inches, 413 or 440?? Planning for at least 950hp, want to break into eights even if by just a little bit. Thanks Guys, Max

I went with steel rods for longivity issues more than anything else - plus I only built for a max of 700HP. As far as inches goes, depending on what rpm you plan on operating at, a 4.25 arm my get you in to some pretty high piston speeds? Assume your wall thickness is good ( .2 or more ) at 4.1? Is your roller blower cam specific?
