my .. replace the stock servos and acummulator with billet pieces(Sonnax,Superior or moparts member sales them), put a max wedge governor in, 4.2(or 3.8) band apply lever and a deep pan with the screened filter.

I have also seen them break at the outer lip.

I'm a machinist by trade & I live at the bottom of the earth so I machined my own billet pistons but you should have them available close by so change it out while you are fitting your deep pan & sleep at night.
