I like to use the Federal Mogul narrow full groove main bearings and a high volume oil pump on all of my engine builds for street, street and strip and race only, regardless of compression ratio. On the roller cam motors I have the #4 cam journal on BB grooved so the rockers oil full time, that helps keep the valve springs cool I quit using the 1/2 inch pick ups a long time ago, if you need more oil volume switch to a external oil pickup system I do try to use the biggest oil capacity pan that I can run on that car and that appliction, my pump gas street and strip Duster has a 518C.I. low deck stroker in it that I rev to 7300 RPM for each gear shift, runs between 6500 and 7000 RPM through the lights It has the Mopar 1970/71 Street Hemi and 440 6 pak oil pan and the stock 440-6 pak 3/8 pickup on it The car runs low tens and high ines at 134+ MPH through the mufflers on pump gas motor only, 3450 lbs
