I've run the car with the Mopar 4 speed long shocks - probably 1.80s. I hit a best of 1.78 or so with the Koni fronts and air shocks in the back. I was trying Summit white front shocks to settle down the handling, which it did but they don't rise as much as the Konis. I had switched from bias ply to radial front tires which helped the handling so I can probably go back to a more aggressive front drag shock. I have been home porting and tweaking a little on my old cast crank 340 and the power is up some. But the 60 ft is at an all time worst. LOL. I had set aside some gas shocks from my 1500 truck in case that might work. I didn't know if they would fit on there just right. It might be fun to try them also. Something easily adjustable like a QA1 would be nice on rear to tune easily. Oh,one more thing : I have new slicks on there, the same as I had used before ( 9 x 28 MT same compound ). Anyway, thanks, and back to our regularly scheduled program !
