How often do you replace or do you have them sent back to be gone through? I'm going to purchase a trans from cope first of the year and was wondering if I should replace it. I've had it in car since 2007 with a good bit of passes and street driving... It's a 8" 5200 ptc. Thanks in advance.

I got a 8 inch turbo action converter...bought it new in 1983....had to have a hub replaced on it back in the 90s...other wise it still being used today...unless the car has slowed down or something that indicates the converter is or has gone bad...use it.
