Talking to her further she says it was more like a thump then a bang. She didn't run over anything. My guess is the thump was when the coolant and trans tanks breached into each other. Better to spend a couple of $100 on fluids and a radiator then a couple of grand on a rebuilt trans. Thanks again to all the answered.
