That's interesting. When I was getting ready to paint my 'Cuda I decided on B/C so I bought a pint of Dupont Chromabase and sprayed the trunk. I wasn't happy with the color--looked to 'milky'. So I bought some PPG Concept single stage and it was much better--a little yellower and much more bright and alive.

Dupont MAY be more accurate to original, but I have compared it to an original paint road runner and it varies from that too.

I agree its a color that varies a lot when compared side-by-side on cars.




This was about 10 years apart and I had used the ppg the first time. Primer used under, color, thickness, etc... can change how it looks. I used buff/yellow on both as I figured if they got chipped, it wouldn't be as noticeable with gray underneathe.
