I took that to mean if it is not above the drivers shoulders, being above the cross bar was ok. My cage went in a mid 11 second car that will end up being a mid 10 second car ( if I'm lucky ). The car will never see 9 seconds. The cage is not certified, and never will be. Fastest 300
