I used the search function and came up with very little newer info on this subject. I'm putting together a 360 Magnum out of a '97 for my '75 4x4. I'm at the point where I need to make a decision on an intake. I want to retain good low end,so I'm thinking dual plane. MP and Edlebrocks are up towards the $300 range and that isn't going to happen. There are some off brands(Chinese I assume) that are $125-$200. I've heard they have some issues sealing. That about covers my new options. I haven't found much for used as I figure there just are a ton out there to begin with and what is out there is in use.

My other options are possible because I have access to a Bridgeport, tig, and a mad scientist named Bob Egli. The first is to redrill the heads and used an LA intake. Plenty of those used,I think I even have an old OFFY 360. My other option is to mill the top of the factory EFI manifold and weld a carb plenum/plate into it. Honestly,as far fetched as that idea is I like it the best. I think the long runners would give me some good bottom end and it would definetly be different. I like different. The biggest downfall to either of these ideas is that once I'm done redrilling the heads there is no going back, not that I would need to,I just like options. And if we build the EFI into carburated and it didn't work I'd be pulling the top end back off the drill the heads.

Any ideas?
