The voltage dosent change basically.When the lights are on say they have 13.5 volts.With either bulb they will have the same voltage.The amps is what is the big factor.The stock Halogens will pull less amps than the OE bulbs.Install the Halogens and go.Unless your system is totally trashed there is no problem.Rocky
