Now THERE'S the problem! I have a RBRE Hemi (non-crate 528) with the Mopar x-ram (against Ray's advice) & while I do agree with him, my car's not a serious drag car, so I saw no real reason not to have one. A&A's x-ram is about 2k last I checked & Ray's new x-ram you're telling me is 3k when I can get Mopar's that flows a bit more than A&A's, isn't as expensive as Ray's & even with flow work plus initial cost won't cost as much as Ray's. What I'll get/have then is a manifold specific to me engine's needs (not a bad thing), possibly less cash outlay (depending on the amount of flow work needed) & still have the x-ram that I wanted in the first place. So for the hobby racer/enthusiast why would I spend about 5k for a non-force induction set-up when I could go FI or with some careful buying even a blower set-up & add about 70% more power for the same outlay? Of course I didn't even mention nitrous which would befar less than that........
