None of my 340's do that and I likely live in an area MUCH hotter than most on here.




The spacer is a band aid approach,imo.

My carb sits right on the manifold on my 340 and it doesn't get hot even in Vegas at 110 degrees. It got hot but not overheating hot and always started.

Most times the solution is in the distributor.
