I have a forged 440 crank that 20 years ago was in a running 440 and BB cable floor shift 727 65 Plymouth Satellite. The owner at that time said there were no problems. The car sat for 15 years before I got it from another owner. The 440 siezed up and they kept the crank and 7 rods and pistons. I have a very good condition 78 440. If I get the newer bearing kit for 78 440's will the forged crank work. I like to keep the crank, converter and trans set togeather.

After almost 71 years I am on my last car. A 65 Plymouth Satellite straight axle altered wheel base car.
