Help. I bought a set of 20" rims off of a 2010 4x4 Dodge Quad Cab Ram to put on my 2005 4x4 Regular Cab Dodge Ram and they won't fit. The centering hub on the truck is just a hair too big for the wheels to seat. I don't have a micrometer to measure them, but I'm guessing it's about .020 or .030 too big. Not much, but enough that I can't get the aluminum 20's to go on the truck. Before I bought the used wheels, I made sure the bolt pattern was the same, but I never guessed the hub would be different.

Is the hub different between the truck years?

Does anyone know the correct hub diameter for each of those year's trucks? Best I can find by searching on-line is either 77.80 mm or 78.03 mm, but no one seems to know for sure.

I'm open for any suggestions because right now I'm rather pissed that I have a set of really nice 20" wheels that I can't put on my truck!

The pic is of the new wheels. My '05 had the ugly steel 17's.

THANKS
