yeah i cant believe i didnt catch the temp guage, the oil pan was way overfull it started to come out the dipstick, the compression test showed good on all cyl. does this mean the head gaskets are good,do tou think maybe intake or timing cover leak , thanks again

I don't want to rain on your parade, but you are grasping at straws if you think you have merely lost an intake gasket or timing cover gasket as a result of your overheating. Perhaps a thin spot in the casting of the timing cover itself let loose. With the volume of coolant into the oil pan you describe, that isn't a W.A.G. Nevertheless, your compression test results do not guarantee good head gaskets in all areas that need to have intact head gasket material, nor does it guarantee uncracked heads in all areas of the heads that need to be crack free.

Pulling BOTH the timing cover AND the heads is probably a good idea.

If you think one job is significantly easier than the other, you might do that task first - it's your choice.
