Thanks for the replies. I guess I should have said that steering column is a frankenstein made when I went from a "three on the tree" to a floor shift. I got an upper 'can' setup off of the E-bag and put it on my column. The bearings and everything up top fits, the issue I have is the lower part seems shorter. I marked the steering shaft before I removed it and it is in the same position. I'm about 1/2 inch away from being able to use the small coupler.
My car always had manual steering and I can't find the origional steering coupler. I did have the two couplers to compare and he long coupler should cover the shoes. The problem with the long coupler I have is it has a power steering spline and won't work on the manual box. I guess I'm just wondering if Ma Mopar made a coupler that was tall but with manual box splines?
