ok so i dropped an 87 318 in my 67 ply now before i did the swap and my original motor still ran it always had this faint miss that i just chaulked up to being old even with new plugs and wires and a good looking cap and rotor.so now in its place there is a 100,000 mile motor out of an 87 ramcharger which before it was pulled ran wonderfull so i left the plugs in it swaped intakes and dropped it in my belvedere while i was getting dirty i opted to switch to electronic ignition and drafted the ramchargers alternator(104 amp)set the timing and laced it all up with new wires the cap ,rotor ,and distributor looked new and flawless although i did lightly sand the pickup coil abit cause it looked a lil rusty fired it up and now it power misses!!!ive got fire at each plug my wires arent crossed and the plugs never came out of the heads if i bring it to about 2000 rpms it runs smooth enough but idles like crap and worse under load i have a ground to the head to fire wall and head to battery ... what am i missing !?!?!?!?!
