I am very happy with my wheel from doug to the point that I hate to use it....

Thanks Stan and Al!

Al, don't be afraid to use it, you've had it for how many years now and I know you actually drive your car more than most people ha ha ha

The repairs and finish I use make the wheel stronger and much more durable than they originally were so use it as much as you want without any worries.

The wheel I did in my car is over 10 years old (60,000 + miles ago) now and looks like it did the day I finished it. I even drive my car during the winter and as a matter of fact the last time I drove it (2 weeks ago) the outside temperature was -12c. The roads were dry so I took it to my Saturday ball hockey game so it went from a nice warm +15c garage to -12c and was parked outside for 5 hours.

The carbon fiber shell I build around the wheels is incredibly tough and has less expansion/contraction issues than any other method of repair. Modern technology is the way to go, there's no place for epoxy fillers if you actually want the repair to last.

I just noticed that Stan is in the background of this shot! LOL
