I bought a used tunnel ram and carbs. The manifold is weiand and the carbs are holley list 9776 450's. The parts look fairly fresh, no bad signs of anone mickey mousing anything.

Carbs have composite acc pump arms and hex heads on the float bowls so I'd say they are not all that old.

My question is has anyone run these carbs before? They are a mechanical secondary with only one acc pump? I can't see it doing anything other than a big bog?

I'm planning on making a 70's machine out of my 69 bee for a laugh. I've got some 15X10 torque thrusts and air shocks. That and swap out the present torker/3310 750 for this t-ram setup.

Car is a 4spd with 3:23 gears not sure what is in the motor but it seems to work very... very well for a 383..... the combo seems to work so well I just have to mess with it

I'm planning on leaving the hood off and going to a couple of cruise nights etc. I'm not looking for et's at the track but I'm hoping it will work near as good or maybe better(wishful thinking) than the 4 bbl.

I'm thinking I don't have to drain the coolant and no kickdown linkage so I can swap back and forth without a bunch of time and hassle.

I have a matched pair of 3310's, 4776's and 1850's already as well as a pair of 500 eddys. ( yes I'm a carb hoarder) But these 9776's seem an interesting option if they work as intended
