No worries whatsoever, don't give it a second thought.
Put in your favorite brand of synthetic 5w20.

If you're mostly concerned about leaks, consider:
5.7s really don't have any "gaskets" per se'.
99% o-rings. The closest thing to a gasket it has is the oil pan, and it is molded rubber/a permanant part of the windage tray. As long as it doesn't leak with conventional oil, it won't with synthetic either.






Or better yet, 0W-20 Full Synthetic. Does everything the 5W-20 Synthetic does only better, and it's the same price. Don't be hesitant on the 0W. It's not a downgrade; it's the contrary.

And for the money, the Napa Platinum oil filter is now the best widely available oil filter on the market with it's 100% micro-glass media. Yes! Although, the 1950s tech paper oil filter will suffice, why do that to your engine when the modern tech micro-glass is now so easily attainable.
