I have thought about it.. work on the crank alone would probably be expensive... grinding and retreating...then rebalancing, then your still buying new rods. the loss in mass from journal size is negligible in this engine... Worth zero power, but I guess makes it fit better?? Its a perfect High dollar crank too boot, thats already balanced.. These rods are Bill Miller and are actually 6.525, with the smaller .990 pin...
