i would like to put together my old 75 w300 for the lowest class truck pulling. it can be headers (though no one makes them for the
w300s) aluminum intake and i am sure i can get away with a cam that does not act cammed up.
must be iron heads on this class and the street stock class. all i have heads wise is iron 440-1 i got from jake zaring that are all out cnc from indy. i really doubt these heads will work well on a 40 over 440 with a lower duration big lift cam with 10.5 or 11 to 1 compression i think these heads will make the stock pistons. the heads are 54cc
so i am wondering about a set of the mp iron max wedge 2.14 heads. they should kick a stage 5 in cfm i think and be a "stock replacement"
what do you guys think? i just may bolt on the indy 440-1 to see what happens cause i own them but i also know i can not be turning 7000rpms down the track in this class also for those big port heads to work.
anyone have used iron mp max wedge heads laying around used?
