Food for thought...in my opinion, if I was going to go through the trouble and expense of relocating a battery, I'd just use a standard, heavy battery, afterall, it puts weight over the rear, which is "good weight"

if you're going to spend big bucks on a light weight battery, then just leave it up front.

I wonder if you actually gain anything weight wise, by going to a lighter battery, then adding 40 feet of heavy copper wire to run up to the starter, and then from the alternator back to the battery.
