Well here's the results.....for simplicity I'll call the blue wire from harness "x".
When I unplugged the IvR loop wire(black) and hooked up x ---to the terminal opposite the blue wire terminal...the gas gauge went from 1/4 to full.
When I hooked x up with existing blue wire on the other terminal nothing happened (stayed at 1/4) until I turned the key off where it shot up to full again.As long as the key is on ...it gives a correct reading. I then tried each prong with x on the IVR and obtained different tank readings.None where it should be. Im starting to think i'm not meant to have this working.
