This is worth reading twice.

IMO, if you go with 1/8" thick Lexan, you should put a center support in it. I have run 1/8 and 3/16 Lexan, and went back to factory laminated safety glass. My car is so heavy, the few pounds going to 3/16 wasn't worth the hassle for me. I bracket race and use show polish to set the dial-in for racing...
