Here is my ... Power steering (code S77) was not on fender tag, only the build sheet. Option groups, such as A06 which included power steering, often were on the fender tag as well as build sheet. As already mentioned, the build sheet is best way.
If the car has the Tuff wheel(code S84) that may be an indication of power steering as that was required. I don't think the steering wheel code was on the fender tag.
