Q1 - If I'm waiting at the lights and go to drive off normally - will it hurt the trans if I leave it in D(3rd gear?) No you must go back to 1st (where D is) then [Edited by Moparts - Family Friendly Site - Keep it clean] at desired rpm Q2 - If thats not advisable.....- is it OK to take off in 2nd gear?
