I agree, the 426 Hemi emblem was only used on very early production '67's. Most had the HEMI tag on the fender. My GTX was built 09-13-66, so it has the 426 hemi tags.

Also, note that the position of the badges is different on the left side of the car vs. the right side, apparently to to create a balanced look with the pentastar vs. no pentastar.
