At a tractor pull last night, and it became very obvious the difference in mother mopars design. the rule at this pull is 1 aircraft engine , or 2 hemis, or 3or4 gm or fords to a ci limit per engine.

There was 4 hot rods with HEMIS, and the rest were either a turbine, or v12 or v16, and 4 or 5 with 3 chevys and 1 with 4 smaller fords.

The Hemis sound and perform so much better, it crazy. There would be a 3 engine big chief engined gm based tractor and it was kinda loud. The guy with me has never heard a Hemi let alone 2 of them. He was excited when the big chief went, it was loud, and ran well, then a Hemi powered tractor lit up, and he feathered it till about 110 ft, and went full power. My buddy spilled his dring, and grabbed for his ears. It was GREAT. He said "HOLY SH!T" that was a huge difference.

They were even louder than the mercedes powered v16 that was over 1700 CI".

So you guys who know, is it the efficency of the heads, and intake design that makes the difference?
