BE&A Parts BE & A Parts and PG Classic Parts PG Classic Parts sell the shifter linkage that goes through the floor and they make/sell the shifter handle and button also. I don't think anybody makes the floor brackets that you weld onto the tunnel for the console. Here is a link to an ebay auction that had the floor brackets, to give you an idea what they look like. Ebay floor console brackets

Nobody makes a floor console body for the a-bodies right now, but they are pretty easy to come by at swap meets or on greedbay $50 to $150 bucks usually. BE&A and PG classic have new console top plates, that are very nice, if you want it yours to look brand new.

The 70 floor shift steering column is 1970 only. You can use a 1971 or 1972 floor shift column, but they look a little different by the key release, other than that the 71/72 columns are a direct bolt-in to your 70. You can swap the floor shift style steering collars from an e-body, b-body or c-body (non-tilt) 70 steering column right onto your column shift if you find one of those steering columns for parts.

Or you can knock the retaining pin out of your column shift lever, discard it, hacksaw the stub off and the shifter indictator window and fibergalss or bondo the holes shut, and repaint it, but it is easier to find a floor shift column and swap it in.

Here is a picture of the key release difference between 1970 and 71/72, just to give you an idea of what steering collars your looking for.

Hope some of this helps.
