I never unscrew the nuts, I split them w a nut cracker then chase the threads w a "thread chasing" die, not a regular die. road debris deforms the threads & they rarely come off easy but w the above new nuts will spin on by hand. Yes 45 sounds low but that's what the FSM lists

The breaker bar and pipe is HOW the U-bolts didn't successfully make the dis-assembly phase...
