They machined a Indy maxx block for me, but they didnt go back and champfer the sharp edge in the bottom of the bores. I was a little aggravated, when you pay $1200 to have a block bored, honed and decked.. it should be ready... I called them, told them the problem. it wasnt feasible to ship the block to correct it, I wasnt about to take the block back up there on a 600+ mile round trip..
My local guy showed me, and fixed on my dime.. I'm glad it was caught it would have destroyed my $1000 custom pistons..
Bottom line is stuff happens, and humans make errors.
