I put my holes towards the back of the scoop, if the holes are towards the front then when you drive you are trapping air inside the back of the scoop and its a good way for the hood to get squirrely at higher speeds.

I used to own a laundromat so if you want to put some rubber edging on the holes, go to a Commercial Wascomat or Speed Queen distributor and get 1 dryer door seal. The look almost like originals for ALLOT less
