I’m considering the DYNAM Primo Trainer for training and leisure flying. With so many options out there, I’d love some feedback on this rc model.

A Few Questions:

Durability: How does it hold up in crashes?
Ease of Use: Is the setup straightforward?
Performance: How does it handle in the air?
Parts Availability: Are replacement parts easy to find?
Battery Life: What kind of flight times can I expect?

I’m looking for something reliable, especially since my pit spot is quite a walk from the track. Any insights would be appreciated!

Before you take your high-horsepower Gen III Hemi to the track, get a flexplate that can handle the abuse. TCI has answered that need with its new Billet Steel Flexplates.

I see one of these went for $160 at a Mecum Auction. I thought these were just general-use over-the-parts-counter replacement caps. Does this cap have a specific application or era?

I run 2 16v batteries in the car. Both batteries are the AGM type. Recently I noticed the drivers side battery only has been discharging a white powder onto the trunk floor under the hold down rubber. Anyone I've talked to about this seems stumped. I had taken that battery out & looked for any holes or cracks, thought maybe it was rubbing against the threaded rod hold downs, but nothing was obvious, Then the other nite was charging them & the green fully charged lite came on as well as the red lite but that was blinking, meaning abort, Testing 4 voltage I got crazy readings between 12,3-16,5 back & forth. The batteries are old & I ordered new ones, but was curious as to the powder effect, thought AGM's wouldn't do that, any thoughts? Dave ss/ea #1355 fury

When Chrysler originally installed the drivetrain in the Mopar, they slid the power plant in from the bottom already bolted on to the K-member. So sometimes when people remove the engines, they’ll lift them out of the top or we’ve even seen some people drop the K-member and all out of the bottom right onto the ground.

Borgeson Universal Company, the steering gear stalwarts out of South Carolina, have added to their extensive product lineup with the acquisition of JJ’s Rods E-Z Firewall Boots. With roots dating back to universal joint manufacturing in the early 1900s, this is yet another solid stepping stone in their effort to be an all-encompassing supplier for the stuff needed to spin wheels.

For those who have followed this Police Package Dodge Charger series since its inception, this installment will conclude the run. If you are new to the series, here is a little history about the Charger.

It started when I purchased a retired Police Package-equipped 2006 Dodge Charger with a 5.7L HEMI that needed serious attention to return to roadworthy condition. After repairing the drivability concerns, attention was given to the bodywork and paint for the next several months.

Anybody here follow Profesional Drag Racers Association?

My project manager won the Elite Top Dragster Championship this weekend.

Came into the event 3rd in points with barely a mathematical chance of the Championship.

To pull it off, he had to qualify better than the 1st and 2nd guys.

1st place car had to go out first round and 2nd place car had to go out by the 2nd round.

All he needed after that, was to win the final. How hard can it be?

He qualified #1 with a PB of 3.68 at 195. (1/8th mile)

That put him against #1 1st round and he put him on the trailer. He won his 2nd round and the #2 car lost his.

Final he hit the tree .009 to a .010. They both dialed 3.73. He ran 3.799 to a 3.729...

His kid had a heartbreaker. He came in leading in points in Pro Jr Dragster but couldn't get the car qualified.

They run a 7.90 index

Q1 under less than ideal conditions, he ran a 7.94 @ 82 mph. 40F which apparently those buzz bombs don't care for.

They canceled afternoon qualifying in favor of the big show and ran them at 10pm. No improvement.

Q3 next afternoon was warm with -1600' air. Couldn't get the car to go slower than 7.84s and competition is such that a 7.94 doesn't get you in the show.

He came away in third. The kid is pretty consistent .00 on the tree.

When did they change a wood grain std dash on a e body metal/plastic overlay?
Years ago I had a number matching 70 gran coupe.
The woodgrain overlay was plastic. I know because it has a Crack in speedometer area.
I have one now. That has a metal overlay. It's also darker wood grain then the plastic one in the gran coupe
When did they go from one to the other?

If anyone knows or has a parts book. Will a 2583352 hood latch work on a 68 plymouth sport satellite? I found a NOS 2583352 on line. It says for 67 to 68 dodge coronet. Looks the same in pictures as mine. I have the correct release lever.

Everything so far has built up to this moment! This is where things start to really get exciting. All of the metal and bodywork have led to this moment when the sheet metal gets pretty. Applying the color is of course a critical phase of any restoration and while there have been updates to materials, equipment, and techniques, the foundations remain the same.

The rise of the drag-and-drive event in the recent decade has birthed several new entries, none so popular as Florida’s Sick Week. From it spurred Sick The Magazine and several other key events, including this week’s – October 11th through October 18th – “Sick 66.” The Sick 66 is an incredible event that takes participants to six different tracks stretching from Missouri to New Mexico along “The Mother Road,” Route 66.
