Pretty much THE perfect drop top to me. Body style, color and options . Although I think a white interior would be better suited out here But. Its just a dream ... way outta my budget. The only way I could even consider this is my current car needs to go. And thats not gonna happen https://www.ebay.com/itm/187222537360?

That is very nice.
I'd prefer a stick and probably the Ramcharger hood vs. the AC, since convertible...but I could go either way on the latter.

I'd prefer your buddy's blue GTX by a ton. But then again I don't care for '70 Coronets, Sublime, or black interiors in convertibles. Burn me once... I'm glad, though, that people like different things, and variety, lest we all drive red Camaros or somesuch, right ?

No doubts that GTX is better condition and maybe one of if not the best one of its kind out there BUT, I've always been a 1970 Coronet fan. ( Ive owned 4 of them ) And in FJ5 with these kinds of options pops my buttons in a big way Plus the whole 4spd thing lost their luster with me long ago

150 and nom? Nice line up of equipment, but I’d want it all for that sort of coin.
I want my fair share

BUT And this is for me personally, when it cks ALL the boxes for colors, and options wrapped in one of my top 2 or 3 favorite body styles, Toss in its one of the early promo cars, I can live without the numbers block, ( cant see those numbers when driving down the road with the cold AC on ) That said, Do I think its worth the $150k, ? Absolutely not But If I were in that position. I could be comfortable in the $100-120K range and be tickled pink, provided it passed muster in person . But Im not so its all kinda moot point And yep, I would much prefer this car over a similar condition/ color / priced V code RT vert

Very nice looking R/T. Those options are great! Drop top, FJ5, Power windows, A/C, AM 8 Track, and of course the 440. The black interior is fine with me, as long as the A/C is nice and cold. That checks a lot of boxes for me too. I would rather have this combo, compared to a V code, or Hemi. Price is way too high for an non original engine... though, it's still a great looking car, from the photos.

Very nice car, but some would choose this over a R or V code convert ? Those are VERY rare. There are only 2 R code cars that exist. Both in private collections with no signs they will ever be sold. I've actually sat in the limelight car last year . The owner is a friend of mine If they were sold, One of them would be the 1st B body Non wing car to break into 7 figures , IMO only As for the V code cars. Are a decent second place for value BUT, dont interest me as much as the options and color combo does on this car Again. strictly my 2cents as ' FOR ME ' - the ultimate B body drop top is loaded with options , a body style I really like and a killer color combination - This particular car - nails it in all aspects. But would I give up my Hemi Satellite for it.? ----- No

I’d take a loaded four barrel car over a plain Jane six pack any day. I had a six pack on my 71 cuda. Thought I had it running real well, pulled hard. Then I plopped the rpm I ake and four barrel off another car I had and it pulled harder all over the range. Kinda took the bloom off the rose for me.

I know some super stock E-body's that switched to 71 Thermoquad setups from 70 Six Pack and went faster. Mopar never put a good large Holley 3310 style carb on their high HP motors like Chevy and Ford did.

The bronze hemi convert I think was found in a boneyard in Canada, anyone one have the story on that one? over the years I have heard there was a 3rd hemi convert that is missing, some of the things I heard were it was crushed in Ga years ago, one story said it was white, another blue, so who knows if there ever was one True story about the bronze one, hemi 4spd version . It was found in a Canadian junkyard back in the 80s I think ALTHOUGH all the pictures out there stating its the hemi vert , I'm told is incorrect. The car in the pictures is a Canadian junkyard, But its a 440 4bl car The Limelight car came out of Sweden / Switzerland I think. Also back in the 80s I believe. I first saw it at a Garlits mopar show many many years ago shortly after it surfaced The 3rd and final one built was US production car is unaccounted for . I dont think anyone truly knows what happened to it The most common story I hear is back in the mid-late 70s The car caught fire . the drivetrain was pulled and the burnt body sent to the crusher. The bronze 4spd car has had a lot of metal replaced and none of its original drivetrain . But its the only one that exists The Limelight auto car is all original metal and all of its original drivetrain, Also the only one that exists Both cars are very well known and are very legit . And both in private collections. I actually sat in the FJ5 car last year. Made my weekend that trip
