What do the plugs look like?
If black, maybe carbon build-up on the piston giving a knock when warm...
Joe Joe, The plugs are a little black, but not carboned up. The noise I'm hearing sounds like a pre-ignition rattle. Three or four clinks, then a pause, then two clinks, pause, etc.

Problem found. Turns out it was a loose harmonic balancer bolt. Balancer was rocking slightly and the crank pulley was hitting the fan pulley. Thanks for all the input!
