So I was putting my front suspension back together and ready to do the brakes, when I realized the LCA inner sleeve pulled out of the rubber when I hand tightened the pivot shaft to the K member. I was just wondering if anyones experienced this before. Are you not supposed to tighten the pivot shaft AT ALL until the weight is on the ground?

No, you got junk bushings.

The reason you don;t tighten certain bushings until weight is on the then is so as to not preload the rubber. If you just tightend that nut without any load on the LCA and it came apart you have junk bushings.

They say there are no such thing as a stupid question.
They say there is always the exception that proves the rule.
Don't be the exception.

Do you have rubber or Poly lower bushings from PST?

I have the rubber, but I think I figured out what I did wrong, I have an adjustable strut rod, and had it too long (despite being the length the instructions said), so the control arm couldn't move forward anymore, and the only possibility was pulling out the bushing.
