Would be interesting to know more details about the builds behind those times, especially since (other than some of the Drag Pak Stock Eliminator cars), all the G3 Hemis I recall seeing going 9s have been blown or nitrous cars. Thx

Those all seem to be modern cars but Ray Meyers(Sixpackgut) was running 9.60s in 2016 with his G3 67 Barracuda.

I agree what details can be shared on these low ET’s.

The number one qualifier especially.

A few months ago there was a guy at the Houston track (maybe the same Rick on the list) with a 1500 ram that went 9:55. I talked to him quite a bit. It is a 480 inch, max build. His truck has glass doors, etc., and weighs 3400 lbs.

771 HP according to walace with those numbers, I bet it would be a bit higher in reality though because of the aerodynamics of a full size truck pushing through the atmosphere. What was the MPH?

I know someone with a legit easy 9’s gen 3 complete engine he would sell. He sold the car it was in( drag pack) to go NSS racing.
Aluminum block, etc, etc.

His MPH was pretty low for his ET, something around 135. He said he get's a lot of his ET with his 60ft (in low 1.3).
