Anyone done a 5.7 and 6 speed into an a-body?

I've seen 2 "cruise night cars with the Combo, one was 64 Barracuda, 6.1 with a T-56 behind it, that guy was out of NJ had it for sale on both Ebay and Craigslist , nice car wanted some where in the low 20k, the other was a 70 Panther Pink Duster , 392ishCI 5.7 with a T-56 he bought the car from one of those Midwest Muscle car shops, Gateway? ST Louis . I think ...
one of the 68 Cudas I looked at before I bought my 66 dart had a Eagle 5.7 with a T-56. the car was outside Cockeysville Md, needed 1/4s but he had a ton of NOS parts that went with it.
Was wondering how the trans fit or didn’t (cutting up?)

Holley probably sells a kit, I;d call their tech line
You can also use a chrysler 833 with 4th gear converted to OD

when I talked to the owner of the 64 he said the floor was a mess, had to rebuild the whole tunnel back to the trans/Tbar cross member and removed the upper part, he used a console from a 66-69 B-body to cover it up.
I heard a few people say the TKO500/600 is a better fit.
