Yes wow! Isn't an F3 big for a G3? How long is that from the plate forward? Is that a SuperCharger Store Gear drive?

Its a ATF SPEED gear drive. They are the ones that made Rob Goss' gear drive. I made the engine mounting plate but they make it also. The F3D106 is an F2 with a higher gear ratio. 5.63 vs 5.4. I'll have to check the length.

The F3D-106 is basically a F1X with an F3 gear case so it's not as big as the traditional F3 series blowers. Also, most anyone that makes a gear drive makes one for a G3 hemi. Supercharger Store and Alston do for sure. I think the new one Procharger makes in house are offered for G3 also but I'm not sure. Rob Goss has the Alston version on his car.

I want one, but I am not sure I want to cut up the car that much to put it in. Looks really long....

Yes, mines 18 1/2" from the front of the motor plate to the front of the blower. They use a different coupling now that's a little shorter. App. 1" total. Its in a 63 Dodge with the engine moved back as far as possible keeping the stock firewall location. You can see where it ends on the core support.

The build is going slow. Built the headers (2 1/8 to 2 1/4 with 4" collector) and working on exhaust. Will be 4" aluminum with mufflers. The gear drive eliminates belt issues and allows a forward facing supercharger. Forward facing belt driven must be reverse rotation. The gear drive also allows 2 drive points for accessories.

Thanks, are there performance advantages to "forward facing" or is mainly packaging?

Basically the same as a sealed hood scoop. Fresh outside air.
