Budget?
I recommend Tanks inc. I got a new tank, and pump. And the line kit with the corvette filter. Get the relay kit as well. All worth the money.

Wiring, you will, get tons of opinions. I did the Holley HP kit. Still putting it all together.

Good luck.

Nothing is super cheap about this swap.

Easiest option is maybe fit a car intake and accesories and use the Mopar Performance crate kit. If you want to keep the truck stuff you can always mod and tune the MP crate kit to fit.

If you had the pcm and harness that came with that engine you could have modded them to fit

Agree with the efi source gold box with harness, runs about 1300 for that. I went with the spectra efi tank for my cuda, got lucky and only paid 110 shipped from amazon for it. They have a walbro 255 pump in them.

we will likely go with the spectra tank ,its a cpl hundred bucks cheaper unless there is a good reason not to.The efisource gold box and harness are reliable and user friendly?

While I have no qualms with the Gold Box reliability, I do try to ensure people know what they'e getting into.

I'd consider the Gold Box to be playing the game on "expert mode", you put all the inputs in and make it run well, or make it run terribly. I'd say the Mopar kit is likely the "beginner" mode, you get the turn-key new car like engine, but there are some capacity constraints if you try to step it up from there.

That said, I have 5,000+ miles on my Gold Box along with a Tanks tank and a JakeFab puck/Aeromotive pump.

Spectra tanks are sold by Rockauto.com. Look for a discount code as well...

Another very low cost option if you hunt around is get a factory harness and pcm and spend a little time to modify it and reflash the factory pcm to run stand alone and you can have a kit as good as the MP standalone kit for 25% of the price of the MP kit or Gold box

thanks for all the info and replies guys, the mp kit does seem quick and easy, any drawbacks ? we are not going to mod the engine so thats no concern. And is there a reason the mp kit does not work with a truck engine?
I do need to start getting all the hard parts gathered up as well, motor mounts, exhaust manifolds, intake manifold(will any car 5.7 manifold work? ) ,front accessory drives etc.........looking for advice in that regard as well..!!

MP says the kit doesnt work with truck engines for 2 main reasons. 1 is alot of the connectors will be in the wrong place due to the location of different accesories etc and 2 from memory the truck 5.7 has a slightly different cam and a dual length itake manifold so the tune will be off a little
