Would a block with some minor cylinder damage from a broken rod be ok to run? It is on the bottom of two cylinders, inner edge.It looks like it could be blended ok,like clearancing for a stroker crank. Im pretty sure it will be fine but wondering if anyone has done this on a G3 since the broken rods are somewhat common on the early models.
Thanks,RT

IMO if the rings don't hit it your good to go.

The 5.7 in my magnum got beat up down low on the cylinder from a broken rod... I smoothed it out with a die grinder and engine runs perfect now.
